1.Our commitment

Student transportation should be usable by every student. CampusRidez is committed to building a website and app that people can use regardless of how they navigate, read, or interact with a screen. Accessibility is treated as a requirement during design and development, not a later cleanup task.

2.Standard we build against

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where practical. That standard covers content being perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for assistive technologies.

3.What we have implemented

  • Semantic HTML landmarks so screen readers can navigate by region.
  • A logical heading hierarchy on every page.
  • Full keyboard operability for navigation, tabs, accordions, menus, and forms.
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • A skip-to-content link at the start of each page.
  • Programmatically associated labels, descriptions, and error messages on all form fields.
  • Errors announced to assistive technology and linked to the field that needs attention.
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds AA ratios for text and interface components.
  • Information never conveyed by color alone.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images, with decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
  • Interactive targets sized at least 44 by 44 pixels.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide.
  • Support for browser zoom and enlarged text without loss of content.

4.Reduced motion

This site uses scroll animations, route animations, and transitions. All of them respect the operating system prefers-reduced-motion setting. When reduced motion is enabled, content appears immediately in its final state without movement, and decorative looping animations are disabled. No information is conveyed only through motion.

5.Assistive technology compatibility

We test against commonly used combinations, including:

  • VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS.
  • NVDA with Firefox and Chrome on Windows.
  • Keyboard-only navigation with no pointing device.
  • Browser zoom up to 200 percent and increased default text size.

6.Known limitations

We want to be transparent about areas we are still improving:

  • Some product illustrations convey layout ideas that are difficult to fully express in alternative text. We pair them with descriptive body copy so no information exists only in the graphic.
  • Long legal documents are dense by nature. We provide a table of contents, anchor links, and a print view to make them easier to navigate.
  • Third-party services such as maps and app-store pages have their own accessibility characteristics that we do not control.

If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, we would like to know about it.

7.Report a barrier or request assistance

If any part of CampusRidez is difficult or impossible for you to use, contact us and we will help directly and work on a fix.

Helpful details include the page or screen, the device, browser, and assistive technology you were using, and what you expected to happen. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within three business days.

If you need information from this site in an alternative format, ask and we will provide it in a format that works for you.

8.Ongoing work

Accessibility is reviewed as part of our regular development process, including automated checks, manual keyboard testing, and screen-reader passes on new features. As CampusRidez expands to more campuses, we will continue auditing and updating this statement.
